Control Blood Sugar Level without Medicine

People may tell that it is very difficult to control the Glucose levels without medication. But it is not impossible as dietary restrictions, and discipline in the everyday activities/lifestyle changes has remarkably helped a lot of people to manage the same.

The following are the some of the important tips/guidelines which are well trusted and had control the blood sugar levels. A person can regulate Diet, water intake, daily workout and consume some essential herbs etc.

Diet

‘What goes in is reflected outside.’ As diet is the foremost thing strikes to our conscious when we talk about reducing the blood sugar levels. Take foods with lesser carbohydrate and must have low glycemic index with moderate levels of protein and fiber. And take small amount of food several times a day, to avoid bulky meals.

Eating fruits

Eating fruits and sugar free juices should be preferred then that of taking other bulky meals. Citric acid rich fruits consumption helps to reduce the weight so that the blood glucose levels are in green mark. Jamblang, Green apple, Grapefruit, Orange and all citrus fruits are effective in reducing the blood sugar levels.

Avoid processed foods

Avoiding all kind of processed and tinned foods restrict from increasing lot of weight, as a result helps to control blood sugar levels. And artificial sweeteners which usually used in fruit juices and extra toppings on fast food must be avoided.

Drinking Water

‘Water is Life’, It is advisable for Diabetics to drink plenty of water daily as water intake can also helps in reducing the blood sugar levels. Liquid consumption is good but it doesn't mean drinking any other fluids like soft drinks, coffee, and tea. One should have minimum 3 liters of water everyday.

Herbal tea

Instead of taking ordinary tea or coffee herbal tea helps the diabetics to lower blood sugar levels. A natural herbal tea performs as a blood sugar regulator, it usually known as Green tea. It will manage the blood sugar and control it in consistent levels. Herbal tea is advised to be taken 3-4 times a day.

Exercises

Workouts are really important in order to burn extra calories and controlling sugar levels too. Sports like tennis and badminton are very effective in reducing the blood sugar in quite a small period of time. Usual jogging and brisk walking early I morning also controls the blood sugar and maintain in a steady state. Asanas (Yoga) also helps to reduce the diabetes sugar a lot by blood circulation.

These are all most effective tips that help to control the blood sugar count at normal level without any medicines but only self consciousness.
