In our diet, bread is essential source of carbohydrates which provides energy, vitamins, minerals and fibers which help in maintaining blood sugar levels. Avoid Potatoes, Corn and Pasta as these are very rich in carbohydrates.

Food rich in fat content is necessary but in a very moderate quantity. Persons suffering from diabetes should avoid extra toppings on processed food. Chocolates and other desserts with a controlled fat size and of sugar free option can be consumed.

Milk and other dairy products due to being high in carbohydrates, their used should be limited. Low-fat milk and unsweetened yogurt will help keep your diabetes in control.
